WENATCHEE — The Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce has rolled out a new membership structure designed to make it easier for businesses to match benefits to their stage of growth.
The tiered model replaces the Chamber’s traditional flat dues with four categories: Community Partner, Community Developer, Community Innovator, and Community Champion. Leaders say the goal is to clarify options for members while building a stronger regional business network.
“The Chamber is working harder than ever to exceed member expectations by delivering meaningful discounts, exclusive benefits, and access to programs and services that matter most,” said Steve Wilkinson, the Wenatchee Chamber’s executive director. “From empowering events to informative resources, every opportunity is designed to help our businesses and organizations grow and thrive. Together with the Chamber Development Committee, our team has built new dynamic membership tiers that align directly with our member’s needs, goals, and ambitions — ensuring our members get the most value from their Chamber investment.”
The framework, Wilkinson added, encourages businesses to not only choose the level that matches their current needs but also to see a pathway toward deeper engagement.
Board President Dorry Foster said the clarity is welcome from a member’s perspective. “The new tiers make it so much easier to identify where I want our organization to be or should aspire to be!” Foster said.
The Chamber says each tier reflects a role in the local economy — from foundational partners to visible innovators to champions who anchor the business community. By aligning benefits and visibility opportunities with each step, the Chamber hopes to simplify the investment decision and maximize impact.
