WENATCHEE — Pybus Public Market has announced plans to host its first annual Fresh Hop Festival, featuring a competition between Eastern and Western Washington breweries.
The event, organized by the Pybus Market Charitable Foundation, is scheduled for October 19, at the LocalTel Event Center and Patio. The festival will showcase seasonal craft beverages from across Washington State, including beer, cider, and mead.
According to the announcement, the festival will feature 10 breweries each from Eastern and Western Washington, along with two cideries and two meaderies from each side of the state. The event is set to run from noon to 6 p.m., with a VIP hour starting at 11 a.m.
General admission tickets are priced at $55, which includes a tasting glass and six tokens. An early bird special of $40 is available for purchases made before September 1st. VIP access, limited to 40 tickets at $65 each, offers early entry and additional tasting tokens.
Live music will be part of the festival, though specific performers have not been announced.
Organizers state that ticket sale information will be released at a later date. The Fresh Hop Festival represents a new addition to the region's craft beverage events calendar.
