MANSON — The Manson Community Council will hold an election on Tuesday, Dec. 9, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Manson Parks Office, 142 Pedoi Street, to fill one open seat on the council. The current term ends Dec. 31, 2025, and the newly elected member will serve a three-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2026, through Dec. 31, 2028.

Eligible residents who live within the Manson School District #19 and are registered to vote in Chelan County may both run for office and participate in the election. Voters will be required to present valid photo identification at check-in.

Applications to run for the open position must be completed in full and returned by 5 p.m. on Nov. 30. Forms may be submitted to a council member, turned in at a council meeting, or emailed to communitycouncilmanson@gmail.com.

Election results will be posted on the Manson Community Council’s Facebook page and announced on KOZI Radio’s “Second Cup of Coffee” no later than Thursday, Dec. 11. The newly elected member will be sworn in at the Dec. 16 council meeting.
